Snowman World Glass Resort provides a warm and cosy atmosphere in a nordic landscape right next to Santa Claus Office in Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland. The beautiful nature of the Arctic Circle starts right at the doorstep of these glass igloo type of apartments.
The luxurious superior glass apartments have been decorated with Lappish handicrafts and Scandinavian design brands such as Secto, Pentik, Pedro and Hay. The large windows and glass ceiling provide an unrestricted view of the northern sky and natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). The shape of the glass structures is inspired by Lapland’s classic “kota” huts, designed and used by the indigenous Sámi people who lead a nomadic reindeer herder lifestyle and slept in the portable tepee-style dwellings.
Each Superior Glass Apartment (40 m2) includes a living area, mini-kitchen, upstairs loft with glass ceiling and own private Hot Spring outdoor hot spa and sauna. Overnighting in Superior Glass Apartment also includes a delicious local buffet breakfast.
Accommodation in Glass Resort Superior Apartments can be enchanced with a three-course dinner in the Ice Restaurant – reservations can be made for Wednesday and Saturday evenings until the end of March 2019 (every day during 16th December – 5th January).
After a spring/summer break Snowman World Glass Resort opens on 17th September 2018 and stays open until 14th April 2019.
