As a very special jaunt for the group, the Walking On A Dream 10th Anniversary Tour marks a series of historic firsts. Empire Of The Sun reimagines the tracks live on stage for the very first time. Additionally, fans witness the first acoustic performance from Emperor Luke Steele ever, adding yet another dimension to the show. Contributing to this wholly immersive experience meant to be seen on stage, they envision and execute a cinematic production on par with the sonic spectacle the album remains avowed for. Unforgettable and unseen visuals augment and accompany the live musicianship as a show opener welcomes listener’s into Walking On A Dream.

They also extend an invitation to audiences worldwide to watch the June 12 Dallas show with other fans on the social VR app, Oculus Venues, available on Oculus Go or GearVR. Produced by Supersphere, fans across the globe may attend the show as it happens in virtual reality, participating in the action while it unfolds and interacting with other fans. It promises to be a night to remember no matter where you watch from.

The tour follows the release of the limited-edition vinyl of Walking On A Dream: 10th Anniversary Edition. This special product includes a gatefold, 180-gram heavyweight transparent blood orange vinyl of Walking On A Dream and a unique code to download the unreleased track “Chrysalis”, featuring the original artwork from the initial 2009 vinyl release.

Praising “Chrysalis”, SPIN noted, “The groovy, 80s-inspired single instantly takes you back to 2009, with breathy indie-dance vocals…” Idolator said, “It’s as sunny, otherworldly and multi-layered as you would expect from Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore.”

Australian alt-electro pioneers Empire Of The Sun have been making waves across the world with phenomenal live shows and anthemic hits for the past decade. The band has carved out its own niche with its dynamic live performances, touring in more than 100 cities across the globe and standout performances at festivals such as Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Outside Lands and Governors Ball.
