SEVENTEEN delighted fans around the world by dropping a concept trailer titled “Power of ‘Love’” while simultaneously announcing their highly anticipated comeback in almost eight months.

With the concept trailer spotlighting the main theme of “Love” using related key phrases interposed throughout, the band unveiled their 2021 “Power of ‘Love’” project with which they will explore, throughout the year, various moments and forms of love that can be encountered in our daily lives.

Some of the many diverse stages and stories of love are exemplified in the concept trailer video: unforgettable and wistful emotions that accompany a blossoming first love depicted in the scene with the young boys playing basketball unable to take their eyes off a young girl walking by; a familial scene of a father fondly capturing the irreplaceable and cherished moments of his son happily playing; a child receiving comfort from their pet; and more.

In 2020, the renowned self-producing idols established themselves as multiplatinum artists after their special album ; [Semicolon] and EP Heng:garæ sold more than 1 million copies each. They also graced the cover of Seventeen Magazine, were featured in TIME’s roundup of “Songs and Albums That Defined K-Pop’s Monumental Year in 2020” and landed on several “Best of 2020” lists from the likes of Billboard, BuzzFeed, PAPER and Teen Vogue.

Additionally, the band also announced they would partner with Geffen Records/Universal Music Group for U.S. & International distribution.

The deal comes on the heels of SEVENTEEN’s showstopping performances on The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year. They were also recently revealed as the first K-pop group to be spotlighted in W Magazine’s Music Issue and Rolling Stone’s In My Room video series, as well as announced as Top Social Artist finalists at the Billboard Music Awards, marking their first-ever nomination at a U.S. award show.
